A comp and a good read

Here is one in a series of images I recently had to create for some ad layouts that were presented to a client. I had to match an effect that was used in a television spot. I love working in Photoshop. I wish I could spend 8 hours a day there. Again this was only a Lo-resolution COMP so no copyrights were violated!

This weeks book suggestion is a great read by Jonathan Harr,"The Lost Painting, The Quest for a Caravaggio Masterpiece".
One note about my book suggestions - I almost never read fiction. It's always history, art history, or biographies. Truth is always stranger (and history more interesting) than any fiction.

New Gallery in Town

I'm stoked because I just found out about a new Gallery that is right down the street from my First Ave. penthouse office suite. Seems Point Park has a new gallery on the corner of the Blvd. of the Allies and Wood Street. There's a nice write up about it in the Post-Gazette today about it.

Still working to make the new blog look better. Work keeps getting in the way though...
