"Peeled", 8x8 inches, oil
The idea for this comes from a colored pencil rendering I did for my "Sketchbook Project" 2011 book which you can view on my Facebook pages.
The working title for this was "We're Number One", mainly because it reminded me of once seeing an old clip of ABC’s Monday Night Football where the camera was panning the crowd and a fan - realizing he was on camera - promptly flipped America the bird, to which Dandy Don Meredith adeptly commented “Aww, he’s just saying ‘We’re number one!’”
