Next Oil Painting Step-By-Step

I planned to re-visit the post from yesterday and share my 3 raw, unprocessed photos that I used to create my little Federer photo montage. However that will have to wait, since I’m in a different location today than where those photos live.

Instead, here are two quick, (read - not very good) JPGs showing step-by-step oil painting progress of my current, classic car hood ornament, still life painting.

Refined the underbelly of the bird this time, and established the darkest values.
