"Battle Of Gettysburg Tribute, Day Two", pencil and digital
This one features Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain of the Union Army and William C. Oates CSA who headed up a bloody battle for little round top on July 2, 1863.
Chamberlain is famed for, among other things, leading his troops on a bayonet charge down the hill to subdue the attack from the Southerners and save the day, and the country. Hence all the bayonets, which serve as a double visual allusion to blades of grass or wheat, which are additional features of the Gettysburg battlefield - Get it? Thought so!
